DIRECTOR – TRAINER – MUM

CASSANDRA LIEBEKNECHT

Cass has had a life-long experience with sport, exercise and wellbeing. In her youth, she was a competitive swimmer. She enjoys running, teaching fitness, and bike riding.

Cass is currently completing a Bachelor in Health Science – Exercise and Nutrition.  Her passion is to educate and teach the fundamentals of movement, mindset and meals and empower Aussies to feel good and move more.

FAVOURITE THINGS

Favourite food: Anything carb related, and cheese.

Favourite café or restaurant: I love Mexican food. Currently love Condesa Mexican on Henley Beach Road.

Idol or hero: Michael Jordan, the ultimate athlete. Joan MacDonald – she’s 70 something year old inspirational lady – go follow her on Insta!

Best way to keep fit: Do my Classes lol!

Favourite class or exercise move: I love all my cardio classes, the vibe, the students, it keeps me pushing and having fun. You can never have enough squats or burpees I say.

Favourite Music: Something that makes you feel amazing especially when the beat drops.

From construction to fitness, Andrew has discovered enjoyment working one-on-one with clients who need that extra help with their fitness journey. Whether it’s climbing Mt. Lofty, cycling or lifting weights, Andrew is by his clients’ sides making sure they achieve their goals

Andrew's transition from construction to fitness has been a journey of passion and dedication. With a newfound love for the fitness industry, he thrives on working one-on-one with clients, guiding them through their personal fitness journeys. Whether it's the challenge of climbing Mt. Lofty, the endurance needed for cycling, or the strength required for weightlifting, Andrew is a steadfast companion to his clients, ensuring they meet their goals.

His sessions, including invigorating boot camps and rigorous strength classes, are renowned for their intensity. Andrew's commitment to fitness is palpable in every session he leads, pushing clients to their limits while fostering an environment of motivation and support. However, it's his quirky relationship with time that adds a unique charm to his classes. Known for occasionally losing track of the clock, Andrew's sessions might push you beyond the expected, in the best way possible.

In essence, Andrew embodies the spirit of a dedicated fitness professional, combining his expertise, enthusiasm, and personal touch to inspire and effect change in those he trains. Max

Max Liebeknecht, the 2022 Junior World Champion Sprint Track Cyclist, epitomizes the essence of a natural athlete and embodies the spirit of camaraderie and kindness. Representing South Australia, Max has showcased his athletic prowess across various disciplines. His journey began as a competitive state track athlete, where his dedication and skill set him apart early on.

Transitioning from the track to the rugged terrains of motorbike racing, Max competed in the Australian Off Road Championships from 2013 to 2016, securing podium wins and proving his versatility and competitive edge. His passion for cycling then steered him towards sprint cycling with the South Australian Sport Institute, where he is currently a member of the development squad.

As a trainer at Power to Move, Max leverages his extensive athletic experience to inspire and guide others towards achieving their health and fitness goals. His approach is not just about physical training; it's about instilling confidence, discipline, and a positive mindset in his clients. Max's ability to motivate and support is unparalleled, making him a cherished coach and mentor to many aspiring athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

Sophie

Sophie has been working and supporting Cass since the early days of Power to Move.

She’s currently completing her Cert 3 in Fitness and has a passion for working with children, in particular with special needs.

Sophie is kind, caring and a supportive teacher who will help you achieve your goals.

Idol or Hero: Tia Toomey, Cross fit athlete and Australian Olympian.
